Dr. Brown combines expert training and skill with an exceptional bedside manner. He comes from a family of teachers and construction workers so he had the values of hard work, dedication, and clear communication instilled in him at a young age.
As he saw his mother's battle with breast cancer, he developed a unique insight into the importance of the patient's perspective in all medical relationships. Having seen firsthand how critical quality care and communication are for each patient, Dr. Brown treats everyone who comes to him as if they were his mother, wife, or child.
To prove that he can provide optimal plastic surgery that surpasses patients' expectations, he earned certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery – the only certifying board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties for the field of plastic surgery. Dr. Brown scored higher than 96% of all applicants who took the rigorous certification exam that same year.
Dr. Brown received over 10 scholarships and academic awards throughout undergraduate and medical school. He was also inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
He was the first Ohio State University plastic surgery resident to win the Outstanding Housestaff Teaching Award – an honor he earned twice.

Dr. Brown is a committed husband and father of two beloved children. Very active in the greater Tampa community, he serves as a Hillsborough County Medical Association delegate to the Florida Medical Association.
His hobbies include playing the guitar and drums, exercising and weight lifting, swimming, mountain biking, and other activities. Our plastic surgeon is also a 4th-degree black belt in Goju-Ryu, having spent nearly a decade as a martial arts instructor at Amato's Karate and Weapons Academy in Middletown, NJ.
Dr. Brown also has blue-collar work experience. He worked as a supervisor at BSI-NJ Incorporated from 1998 to 2008, overseeing machinery repair, carpentry, welding, and remodeling.

Dr. Brown is amazing! He was the only consult I went too because I loved his work, I was dead set on him doing my breast reduction. Within seconds of meeting him, I knew I made the right choice. Dr. Brown took his time to answer all my questions and made me feel safe with the surgery. Samantha/Kaylee were a big help as well, always answered my texts/questions. Impossible to share how wonderful the offices of Dr. Brown has been. Through the entire process start to finish he and his staff were professional and always available via text or call. I am beyond happy with the results from have a “Mommy Makeover”. Recovery was a breeze, very little pain. The incisions were paper thin, straight and after 6 months completely healed with little scaring. He listened and did exactly what I asked for, a natural look. Look no further Dr. Brown is the best!
